Oplan Kalag-Kalag 2021 Highlights

Below are the content of “Oplan Kalag Kalag” as released by Cebu City Acting Mayor Michael Rama last October 16, Saturday.

November 1-2

Those allowed to visit:

  • 18-65 years old
  • must strictly be FULLY vaccinated.

October 18-30 & November 3-5

  • 18-65 years old
  • even those not yet vaccinated

Allowed time of visit

Only between 5 am to 6 pm

Procedure upon entry

  • Temperature check
  • Health/symptom screening
  • Vaccination card (for those visiting between Nov 1-2)
  • Valid ID 

Below Capacity should be strictly followed:

Pardo Cemetery - 350 people

Labangon Bliss Veterans Cemetery - 250 people

Calamba Cemetery - 350 people

Talamban Cemetery - 150 people

Carreta (Cathedral) Cemetery - 450 people

Cabantan Cemetery - 170 people

Carreta (Sto. Rosario) Cemetery - 110 people

Private cemeteries - 50% of maximum capacity

Other key points to note:

  • Maximum of 1 hour stay in the cemetery per visitor
  • Maximum of 5 visitors per grave
  • Holy mass inside the chapel should only be 50% of capacity
  • Holy mass would only be scheduled between 6 am and 1pm
  • Holy mass should only be 30 minutes
  • No bringing of food, eating and drinking alcoholic drinks (except if intended as offering for the dead)
  • No gambling or any recreational activities
  • Vending and selling of merchandise is prohibited

STRICTLY Follow the Health Protocols

  • wear mask and face shield
  • physical distancing
  • always keep disinfectant or alcohol-based sanitizer
  • be familiar with coughing etiquette
  • IF YOUR NOT FEELING WELL AT SOME POINT PLEASE OPT TO STAY/GO HOME.
