Cebu Forward is the newest and hottest province App. It is the first of its kind in the Philippines. A smart province App dedicated to Cebu. This App contains relevant options you might want to check.
CEBU FORWARD APP FEATURES
iReport
You can use this feature to make a report however you would need to verify your account first. I will provide a step by step guide in the last part of this blog on how to verify your Cebu Forward app.
Emergency
This feature would provide you with the different emergency hotlines for each LGUs in Cebu. Just Select the Location and you would be routed to a list of LGUs in that area with their corresponding contact details.

As the name suggest, it is a place where Cebuanos can promote and sell their products as well as for buyers who want to make a purchase.
The good this about this is that members need to under go a verification process, so you can be confident in every transaction.

Serves as a portal that shows you the different tourist spots in Cebu.

This Cebu Forward feature allows you to pin point your location in the map and search for the nearest bus stop.
Interested now? Here are the steps to open an account:
How to create an account in CEBU FORWARD
- Download the Cebu Forward app from your play store.
- After downloading, open the app.
- It would route you to the login page. You may login right away if you already have a credential.
- For those with no login credentials yet, just click the “No account? Create one now.” found on the lower right hand corner or the screen.
- After clicking, you would then be routed to a page where you would need to enter
- Phone Number
- Password
- Confirm Password
- First & Last Name
- Municipality
- Barangay
- Be sure to enter a correct phone number. An OTP code would be send to this number which you would then need to input to continue.
- There would be a notification informing you that your registration has been submitted.
With this you are done!!1
You may click “Later” and explore the app first but I would highly encourage you to “Verify” your account”
A Verified account would have more perks and I would provide you a better Cebu Forward experience.
How to be a Verified Cebu Forward user
- Once you click the “VERIFY” button (refer to image above), you would then be ask to take a phot of your self.
- Make sure you’re in a well-lit room
- Hold the camera away from your face
- Position your face within the frame
- Your attire won’t matter since the frame is designed so that only your face would be captured.
- Once your comfortable, you may now take the phone
- ID Verification
- You would need to provide 1 valid ID.
- Place your phone directly on top of your document
- Position the document within the frame. Must show all four corners of the document
- Content must be clear and legible
- Scan Current Location
- Please make sure that your current location matches your registered residents address.
- Cebu Forward app will use your phone’s location to pinpoint your address. (*Stay in an area without any satellite signal blockage.*)
- Don’t forget to enable location settings for this step.
- When you are ready, tap Scan.
While waiting, you can still explore the Cebu Forward app.
It’s just that you won’t be able to file an iReport without being verified.
